Best Possible Music is Carter Burwell's music publishing empire.

It publishes the scores to the films Before The Devil Knows You're Dead, Fur, Kinsey, Before Night Falls, Being John Malkovich, Blood Simple, The Celluloid Closet, Two Bits, Checking Out, A Hero of Our Time and The Beat, and the score (not the songs) in Velvet Goldmine. It also co-publishes the scores to And The Band Played On, and Locusts.

Best Possible Music also publishes all of Carter Burwell's music outside of film, including Theater of the New Ear, Lumiere et Ombre, The Celestial Alphabet Event, Cara Lucia, The Film Forum Trailer, The Return of Lot's Wife, and Mother.
